In this role your primary responsibility will be to develop the Group Tax Policy as well as direct  our progressive plans within Tax Transparency- and Sustainability. In the role you will be exposed to many parts of the organization. The scope of tasks is expected to cover:

  • Prepare the annual tax policy update to be approved by the Board of Directors
  • Take lead on the Tax Strategy Process with input from the rest of the Group Tax Management Team
  • Collect, analyze and prepare tax reporting in the annual sustainability report
  • Assist with international tax matters in selected projects
  • Ad hoc assist on M&A projects and support Vestas’ Venture Investment Team



  • Master degree or similar level of education within Legal, Finance or Accounting
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience working with an MNE, as an advisor or a tax authority
  • Professional communication skills, oral and written, and interpersonal interaction
  • Experience working with cross-functional processes with many stakeholders will be a benefit 


The ideal candidate is highly motivated by cross functional teamwork and working with communicating highly complex matters in an accessible way to a broad group of recipients. Furthermore, we are looking for a profile who has/is:

  • Good understanding of Global Tax Policy and Regulations relevant for large corporations
  • Team member and solid stakeholder management skills 
  • Holistic and positive mindset: you are able to see the big picture and thrive in an innovative and constantly changing environment and industry

Additional information 
Your primary work location will be Vestas’ office in Copenhagen, Denmark.
You can expect up to 10-15 days of travel per year.
