Global Legal Offshore & Service is a small team, within the global Legal, Risk & Compliance department of Vestas, providing legal and contracting support to the high growth business areas of Offshore and Service. Our three core responsibilities include (1) being the centre of enablement to the legal and contracting front-line for offshore and service sales transactions, (2) business partnering at a strategic level with Global Service and Global Offshore management and (3) providing centralized operational support for offshore marine and aviation sourcing, as well as ad-hoc, for other defined specialty areas.

  • Provide advice and business-oriented solutions to front-line teams on Offshore contracting risks
  • Develop, implement and continuously improve governance and policies for Offshore sales and service offerings to ensure a healthy risk profile for Vestas
  • Develop and implement effective and scalable training (field and desktop) to internal and external front-line Offshore lawyers as well as other relevant stakeholders
  • Support improvement and development of product offerings and solutions for the Offshore market
  • Continuously ensure that contractual lessons learned from previous projects are incorporated into the enablement toolbox of governance, policies, templates, training, etc.
  • Business partner with key stakeholders in the Offshore end-to-end value chain to ensure customer-centricity and quality is embedded in our tools
  • Conduct peer reviews of front-line negotiated turbine supply agreements and service & maintenance agreements



  • Solid legal educational background with professional English contract drafting skills
  • Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience working for an international-oriented in-house corporation or a law firm
  • Significant experience in wind energy transactions (preferably Offshore) or come from a related offshore industry or have other significant experience with handling large scale international infrastructure transactions
  • Experience with efficient communication and stakeholder management in a multinational, matrixed organisation
  • Working knowledge of FIDIC (Yellow Book) is desirable

Additional information

Your work location can be either Aarhus (DK), Copenhagen (DK) or Hamburg (DE). Other locations may be considered in exceptional cases.

You can expect up to 20 days of travel per year.
