For too long the ordering and procurement process within the renewable energy space has been fragmented and lack transparency. At Covento (by Vestas), we aim to change that. Our goal: a place where all buyers in the renewable space (field engineers, procurement professionals, O&M professionals, etc), can find everything from consumables to highly technical parts and services across multiple sellers. We will do this through advanced search capabilities, a streamlined payment experience, easy reconciliations, and centralised delivery notifications. We know this will be hard. But believe if we can turn the cumbersome into transparent, it will result in improved economics for our customers and Covento can contribute to move the needle in solving our climate crisis. We also believe this is a multi-billion-euro opportunity. We know that many don't think you can do good for the world and make money - but at Covento we think otherwise and plan to prove it.


Responsibilities
As Product Marketing Manager (m/f/d), your primary areas of responsibility are to:

  • Develop and implement the Covento marketing and sales enablement strategy to prepare Covento for launch and for continuous growth post-launch
  • Develop, implement, and maintain the value proposition for Covento, both towards buyers and sellers
  • Create and maintain Covento's sales-enabling marketing materials, content and messaging needed to engage with buyers and sellers across their respective lifecycle (from prospection to retention)
  • Engage with Vestas and Covento Sales teams to promote, showcase and train relevant stakeholder on the Covento value proposition and relevant messaging
  • Using data and insights and working with Marketing Automation, propel the development and ongoing iteration of marketing content and messaging for marketing campaigns and automation
  • Work closely with Product Managers to identify needs and sharpen product offerings based on feedback from customers, sales, and competitive offerings
  • Continually raise the bar on development of compelling, data-driven case studies and messaging with customer focus

 

Qualifications
To qualify for the position, we expect you to have at least some years of experience from a similar position and relevant education covering business commercial disciplines. Further, we expect you to have the following qualifications:

  • Significant digital and commercial understanding, especially around eCommerce and SaaS (software as a service), as well as understanding and experience with Marketing, CX and UI
  • Experience with launching new products, ideally in the B2B space
  • Demonstrated proven history of crafting compelling product and content marketing as well as sales enablement initiatives and materials.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and develop convincing marketing content
  • Understanding of eCommerce platforms and marketing automation
  • Commercial mindset, with the ability to connect with organisational priorities
  • Significant professional English skills, both verbally and in writing

  • Qualified cross-cultural competencies and experienced in multi-stakeholder management as well as handling agencies and contractors
  • Experience in the entrepreneurial world or similar - with the ability to be the owner of your day in an uncertain and ever-growing and changing environment
  • Experience working closely with a commercial team, product managers, customer development managers, data scientist and IT
  • Ability to navigate in innovative and complex environments while working with a good sense of urgency

Additional information
You can expect 25% of travelling. Your work location will be in Copenhagen, Denmark.
