By joining our Commercial Analytics team, you will be supporting all parts of Vestas’ value chain by delivering data-driven insights, which are key for future business improvements and continuous commercial optimization. 


As our new Commercial Analytics Specialist, you will be joining newly establish team that supports across all regions in Vestas. Working cross-functional with various departments such as Finance, Vestas Power Solutions, Supply Chain, Construction, and Service you will carry out various analysis to map the current market, ensure competitive pricing and essentially deliver forecasts to initiate and promote key actions for a variety of internal stakeholders.


Being a trusted advisor to key internal stakeholders such as executive level management is central to this role. By providing concise and insightful presentations that offer clear guidance and tactical suggestions, you will ensure that Vestas stay ahead of competition in a profitable and customer-focused way. 

  • Engage in various department meetings across the Vestas’ organisation to identify and collect vital insights for commercial and financial analysis
  • Identify insights, trends and perform in-dept dive analysis for executive management and other key stakeholders in Vestas 
  • Transform key results into various presentation material that enables data-driven decision-making
  • Present data-driven findings to various internal stakeholders and translate the results into future business recommendations and tactic strategies
  • Collaborate and engage effectively with key stakeholders in a matrix organisation to identify value-creating initiatives


  • Education on master’s level from relevant areas such as business intelligence, commercial, engineering, economics or similar
  • Experience in financial, economic, and statistical modelling and a record of delivering efficient market and business analysis
  • Solid record of transforming complex results into data storytelling, visuals and reports (e.g. Significant Excel and PowerPoint skills)
  • Motivated by delivering efficient presentations at varying levels of complexity to key stakeholders at executive level
  • Prior experience from sectors such as wind energy, power plants, utilities, or construction preferably from a global company
  • Proven ability to navigate through a matrix organisation, interfacing and sparring with a range of cross-functional stakeholders
  • Fluent in English - both written and spoken, additional European language skills would be beneficial
