Vestas Benelux is a local Sales Business Unit (SBU) with its main office in Arnhem. The SBU sells, constructs and services wind turbines in the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, Aruba & Curacao. The Benelux organization employs approximately 225 employees in the Netherlands.

The Vestas NCE Service Supply Chain Repair & Tools Department is responsible for the logistic and warehouse operations of harbor and vessel warehouses throughout NCE. We are supporting Vestas Offshore Sites, Special Projects and other departments with functions to install, service and maintain the wind turbines in multiple windfarms across the European seas.

Responsibilities
- Being the point of contact for warehouse standardization in Offshore
- Train and guide team of service stockkeepers handling spare parts, tools, and consumables for offshore operations. Dive into issues regarding material flow processes, visiting warehouses when necessary
- Monitor performance (KPIs) to ensure no warehouse stockkeeper is left behind standards or with no support for eventual issues
- Maintain accurate inventory records in SAP and support other sites on the same task. Role model for a strong safety culture among stockkeepers and during visits to warehouses
- Report and investigate near-misses, incidents, and NCR during your visits while support stockkeepers to create their own NCRs
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives. Support audits, inspections, implementation of LEAN and 5S dynamics in NCE
- In this position, you will be responsible for standardizing and bringing Supply Chain Operations' warehouses to a higher level. It will also demand that you support warehouses and the Supply Chain Operations Manager with system tasks (SAP) and initiatives to keep operations performing efficiently
Qualifications
- Apprenticeship and/or degree from an education in warehouse-management or logistics
- Warehouse experience and LEAN / 5S knowledge is beneficial
- Full driving license
- Computer knowledge: SharePoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, TMS, ERP system (SAP/AX)
- Good communication skills in English
- Time management/planning skills in order to deal with Warehouse/Office working
- Being able to understand processes and follow steps as they were planned
Competencies
- Strong organization and communication skills. (being able to connect with other colleagues and point improvements necessary in their locations)
- Knowledge of offshore wind logistics and safety standards is beneficial
- Familiarity with SAP (or other ERP system) and how Supply Chain and material flow works
- Understanding how to setup warehouses from scratch
- Problem-solving mindset with focus on efficiency
This position demands a highly organized person that understands of Warehouse and ERP systems and is ready to approach problems in a structured way.
