Are you motivated to work with HSE processes and enhance safety awareness in a dynamic environment? This is a unique opportunity to support offshore service operations in HSE matters and to be part of an international HSE team.

As part of the North and Central Europe (NCE) region, our HSE team provides essential support to the O&M department within Cluster 3. We work closely with operational teams across 11 offshore wind farms located in Belgium and the Netherlands to ensure the highest standards of safety, environmental compliance, and risk management. In this complex offshore environment, our department plays a critical role in promoting a strong safety culture and supporting safe, efficient operations.

 

Responsibilities

  • Support offshore service operations in enhancing safety awareness, building a positive safety culture, rolling out HSE campaigns, implementing the annual action plan, conducting HSE-related trainings, and handling all relevant HSE reporting and tasks
  • Review and update HSE documents, assist in the creation and review of risk assessment, toolbox talks and other relevant documents
  • Participate in Toolbox Talks, internal and external HSE inspections and meetings
  • Follow up on HSE processes and customer requirements and participate in customer meetings
  • Report hazard observations, near misses and incidents in the incident management system, support the incident investigations. Advise and align with Service managers, supervisors and O&M team on preventive and corrective actions

 

Qualifications

  • Experience from a similar HSE role within wind power/energy sector or adjacent industries
  • Have experience with HSE policies, processes and incident handling, registration and investigation
  • Have experience in the review and creation of HSE Documents (such as risk assessment, toolbox talks)
  • Have good IT skills, particularly with Microsoft Office applications, and the ability to quickly understand and learn new systems
  • Good command of the English and the Dutch language (written and spoken) is required

Additional information

The role will be based in our office in Ijmuiden, Netherlands. You are required to work in-office but will also do offshore visits when required. Some travelling is to be expected, up to 20 days per year, mainly to Belgium where many team members are located.
