Service Sales works with multiple functions in an international environment to deliver on Vestas "profitable growth" strategy.

Vestas Offshore Service department is responsible for service and maintenance of the wind turbines in multiple windfarms in the North sea within the Netherlands. The department has an open and informal culture, where teamwork and good communication ensure we meet our targets. Responsibilities:

 

Service Order steering

  • Working according the VPP (Vestas Process Portal guidelines) especially for planning
  • process in Vestas for the role of Dispatcher.
  • Prioritize & reply queries from the Field Service or the office employees.

Work preparation

  • Organize the needed skills, resources, and materials, according to the prepared work order.
  • Organize and apply for work permits and location specific workplans.

Planning

  • Create the most efficient daily planning in consultation with the teams, supervisor and planning process.
  • Plan the Service teams of the region, with special attention at 3 week detailed planning considering priority, available resources and materials.
  • Create the most efficient daily planning in consultation with the teams, supervisor and planning process, optimized for the scope of weather forecast, bundling of service orders and travel time.
  • Ensure a quick solution when issues regarding the original planning arise and inform stakeholders accordingly.

Process Enhancement

  • Signaling of structural deviations regarding to workforce planning, drop-off locations and materials.
  • Initiate process improvements in consultation with the Team leader for Planning Department.

Additional

  • First point of contact for the Service Technicians regarding planning and timeframes of planned works.
  • Replace other Planning Coordinators when absent.
  • Planning and contact with external subcontractors if this is initiated by the region.
  • Creating Purchase Requisition, follow-up and Goods Received of purchase orders for contracted activities in the area

 

Qualifications

  • MBO work and thinking level (MBO Logistics or MTS WTB)
  • Experience with planning, planning tools and prioritization.
  • Adequate knowledge, skills and experience in MS Office, SAP or similar ERP-systems.
  • Ability to analyze numerical data and identify trends.
  • Knowledge of organizational processes and systems.
  • Proficient oral and written fluency in Dutch and English.
