Join our high-experience Technical Support Control Systems Team and be the vital link between R&D and local business units, steering turbine performance and innovation at Vestas!
Technical Support Control Systems Team is a sub department of Technical Support NCE, supporting Service and Construction business in entire NCE region, in terms of technical knowledge and acting as the link between R&D and local business units. The main areas of support are turbine troubleshooting and turbine performance tasks.
Joining Technical Support Control Systems Team, you will be part of a high experience team. Contributing to implementing Vestas strategy, supporting the Service and Construction organizations and local business units with technical knowledge, secure customer focus and safety.
The team consists today of 11 persons.
Responsibilities
- Providing direct support to service technicians in troubleshooting and repair jobs with focus on turbine performance.
- Provide timely and correct responses and support to the Service and Construction organizations.
- Create guides (VGAs) for Service technicians
- Prepare technical customer reports and presenting technical matters at customer meetings.
- Be the link between Technical Support NCE and Technology R&D.
- Advanced troubleshooting for down Turbines.
- Secure CIR creation.
- Providing answers to technical questions to internal and external stakeholder (C4C).
- Ensure technical knowledge is shared within WTG Engineering & Technical Support teams in NCE
- Stay connected to NCE and global WTG Engineering & Technical Support community within Vestas
- Support introduction of new WTG types
Qualifications
- Proficient communication skills in German (C1/C2) and English (conversational)
- Electrical or mechanical education + working experience from the wind industry. Or, relevant Engineering education, such as: Electrical, Mechanical or Marine Engineering
- Experience from the wind industry is beneficial
- Familiar with ERP (Salesforce and Toolkit)
Competencies
- Commercial skills - being able to run project and communication skills both verbal and written
- Ability to participate as part of an international environment
- Good knowledge of WTG control systems (Toolkit, VOB, VTM, VAX etc.)
- Ability to organize and priorities tasks.
- Able to work both with limited supervision and in teams.
- Good pragmatical and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail and a solid focus on quality and safety.
Additional Information
The position reports directly to Manager, Tech. Support Control Systems NCE. The position can be filled in Husum, Hamburg, Berlin, Rheine & Gotha.
