The Technical Support Operational System Team is a sub department of Technical Support NCE, supporting both Offshore and Onshore Service and Construction business in entire Northern Central Europe region, in terms of technical knowledge and acting as the link between R&D and local business units. As Team Leader you will be responsible for a group within Operations System team of 8-12 people. Their job is to provide technical support for various stakeholders within the NCE region.

 

Responsibilities

 

As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for developing the team to meet the requirements of an ever-changing and growing business. You will also play an important part in securing and delivering products and service to meet our customers' expectations.

Furthermore, your responsibilities will be:

  • Remote Team Leadership, effectively represents and supervises a remote team of 8-12 employees

  • Act as the deputy for the Manager of the Technical Operational System Team when required

  • Role model ensuring team delivers on objectives and deliverables

  • Ensure compliance with Vestas standards, processes, and procedures

  • Resolve escalated issues promptly

  • Strive for high standards and awareness within safety and sustainability in the team, as well as continuously work to ensure a good working environment, setting a clear direction and focus within the team to align with the business needs

  • Setting clear operational expectations and KPIs within the team as well as implementing the relevant governance to review these regularly

  • All personnel management within the team including recruitment, disciplinary, and capability actions where required

  • Optimize/develop and improve tasks, processes, systems, and responsibilities within own team

  • Provide timely and correct responses and support to the Service and Construction organizations

  • Assure the link between Technical Support NCE and Technology R&D are maintained and developed

 

Qualifications

 

  • Technical background e.g. a degree in IT or a related field or several years of experience in a technical field

  • Experience in leadership role with a proven ability to develop teams and organizational results

  • Experience of change management and improvement of processes

  • Several years experience handling people and multiple functions within a department

  • Highly skilled at stakeholder management and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent communication skills in both verbal and written English

  • Have the leadership and attributes needed, to achieve set goals in complex organizations as well as being able to coach, empower, and support a team around you

  • Ability to cope with stress in an ever-growing varied environment

  • Effective leader of meetings, teams, and projects with an organized methodical approach

  • Professional PC skills - SAP, Microsoft office suite
