About the Position
As a Service Technician for main component exchanges (m/f/d), you’ll be part of the team responsible for replacing and repairing key components of wind turbines. You'll work in teams of 2–8 technicians, often alongside external partners like crane operators and transport crews. Your tasks include component exchanges, implementing retrofits to improve turbine performance, and documenting all work using digital tools.
Alongside your technical responsibilities, your site presence greatly influences team collaboration, day-to-day operations, and the sustained effectiveness of clean energy initiatives throughout the region.
What You’ll Need to Thrive.
- A completed vocational qualification in one of the following fields:
Electrical engineering, metalwork, mechanical/automotive engineering, or building and supply technology
Individuals with relevant experience are also encouraged to apply
- Ability to work without supervision and create technical documentation
- Comfortable using Microsoft and iOS systems; SAP experience is a plus
- Willingness to travel internationally
- Physically fit and comfortable working at heights
- A valid Class B driver’s license
- Language skills: Fluent German and Basic English
