Join us as an Operational Commissioning Planning Lead (f/m/d) and play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless execution of complex onshore wind projects across Northern and Central Europe. In this position, you will coordinate commissioning resource planning, align demand across stakeholders, and help secure the successful delivery of our project portfolio. You’ll work closely with international teams in Germany and Poland, operating in a dynamic environment where accuracy, foresight, and strong collaboration are essential. Region NCE and Global Offshore > NCE > NCE Onshore CPX Execution Portfolio Planning

The Execution Portfolio Planning team forms part of the NCE Onshore PMO & Planning Department and oversees aligned main crane, installation subcontractor, commissioning, and component planning across the region.

The Supplier & Commissioning Planning Team, also within the NCE Portfolio & Project Planning Department, delivers harmonised, cross‑regional planning across the full NCE footprint. Based in Husum (Germany) and Szczecin (Poland), the team collaborates closely with CPX Onshore, Service regions and specialised commissioning teams to ensure strong forecasting, resource readiness, and high‑quality project execution in a fast‑growing renewable energy environment.

 

Responsibilities

  • Plan and align commissioning resource demand together with CPX Project Teams across the full NCE onshore project portfolio
  • Forecast commissioning requirements to Service Regions and the Service Special Task Team, including commissioning teams and supervisors
  • Track project progress and continuously monitor risk indicators
  • Conduct risk analysis and define mitigation actions in collaboration with stakeholders from Service and CPX
  • Create Service Order Templates for commissioning‑related Service tasks
  • Provide forecasts for specialized service providers for local or project‑specific needs (e.g., lift certifiers)
  • Support efficient coordination between project planning, execution teams, and service functions to ensure operational readiness

 

Qualifications

  • Completed vocational education/apprenticeship in a commercial and/or technical field
  • Up to 5 years of experience in operational or project planning roles
  • Professional experience in construction or site planning, ideally within the wind industry or other complex industrial project environments
  • Knowledge of planning, reporting, and analytical tools, including relevant software applications
  • Solid understanding of electrical or technical processes
  • Fluent in German and English
  • Familiarity with PowerBI, SAP, and Primavera (nice to have)

 

Competencies

  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate within an international, multicultural team
  • High technical understanding of Wind Turbine Generators
  • Result‑oriented mindset with a responsible, proactive approach to work
  • Ability to communicate clearly at all organisational levels and build strong stakeholder relationships
  • Methodical, structured working style and ability to work effectively with cross‑functional teams
  • Resilience when working under pressure, shifting priorities, or tight deadlines

Additional information

Primary work location: Berlin, Husum, Hamburg (DE) or Szczecin (PL)

Expected travel: approximately 10 days per year.
