The Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) department at Vestas plays a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing safety, health, and environmental standards across the company's operations. The department's primary focus is on deploying Vestas' safety strategies and fostering a zero-accident culture within its facilities and projects.
Key responsibilities of the HSE department include ensuring a safe working environment, supporting management with HSE issues, facilitating safety group meetings, coaching the safety organization, and investigating accidents to implement corrective actions. The team works closely with various stakeholders to develop and implement HSE procedures and standards, aligning them with international regulations and ISO standards such as ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 
 

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement safety procedures and protocols for onshore wind energy projects
• Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
• Provide safety training to employees and contractors
• Incident Management
• Ensure that Vestas' operations comply with all relevant safety laws and standards
• Maintain accurate records of safety audits, incidents, and training sessions
• Prepare regular safety reports for management 

Qualifications

• Relevant degree or certification in Occupational Health and Safety or a related field. (Sicherheitsfachkraft)
• Some years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the renewable energy or construction industry

Competencies

• Strong knowledge of safety regulations and best practices
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Ability to work in high-risk environments, including heights and remote locations
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Proficiency in both German and English

Die Abteilung Gesundheit, Sicherheit und Umwelt (HSE) bei Vestas spielt eine entscheidende Rolle bei der Aufrechterhaltung und Verbesserung der Sicherheits-, Gesundheits- und Umweltstandards im gesamten Unternehmen. Der Hauptfokus der Abteilung liegt auf der Umsetzung von Vestas' Sicherheitsstrategien und der Förderung einer Null-Unfall-Kultur in den Einrichtungen und Projekten.
 

Die Hauptaufgaben der HSE-Abteilung umfassen

• Sicherstellung eines sicheren Arbeitsumfelds
• Unterstützung des Managements bei HSE-Fragen
• Durchführung von Sicherheitsgruppentreffen
• Coaching der Sicherheitsorganisation
• Untersuchung von Unfällen zur Umsetzung von Korrekturmaßnahmen

Das Team arbeitet eng mit verschiedenen Interessengruppen zusammen, um HSE-Verfahren und -Standards zu entwickeln und umzusetzen, die im Einklang mit internationalen Vorschriften und ISO-Standards wie der ISO 14001 und ISO 45001 stehen.
 

Verantwortlichkeiten

• Entwicklung und Implementierung von Sicherheitsverfahren und -protokollen für Onshore-Windenergieprojekte
• Durchführung regelmäßiger Sicherheitsprüfungen und Inspektionen zur Sicherstellung der Einhaltung von Branchenstandards und Vorschriften
• Bereitstellung von Sicherheitsschulungen für Mitarbeiter und Auftragnehmer
• Unfallmanagement
• Sicherstellung der Einhaltung aller relevanten Sicherheitsgesetze und -standards durch die Vestas-Betriebe
• Führen präziser Aufzeichnungen über Sicherheitsprüfungen, Zwischenfälle und Schulungen
• Erstellung regelmäßiger Sicherheitsberichte für das Management

Qualifikationen

• Relevanter Abschluss oder Zertifizierung im Bereich Arbeitssicherheit und Gesundheitsschutz oder einem verwandten Bereich (Sicherheitsfachkraft)
• Mehrjährige Erfahrung in einer ähnlichen Position, vorzugsweise in der erneuerbaren Energie- oder Bauindustrie

Kompetenzen

• Fundierte Kenntnisse der Sicherheitsvorschriften und Best Practices
• Hervorragende Kommunikations- und Führungsfähigkeiten
• Fähigkeit, in risikoreichen Umgebungen zu arbeiten, einschließlich Arbeiten in großer Höhe und in abgelegenen Gebieten
• Versiert im Umgang mit MS Office
• Verhandlungssicher in Deutsch und Englisch
