Customer Project Execution (CPX) Onshore is responsible for installing, commissioning and finally the handover of wind farms to our customers. Working closely together with the clients and other stakeholders is a key parameter to ensure this happens safely, cost-efficiently and with a high-quality standard.
The Operation Concept & Site Engineering team within the Bid Management department is responsible for the road and hardstand design standards, maintaining the specification, ensuring risk mitigated installation concepts for the region Northern & Central Europe (including East Europe). The team of Site and Civil Engineers supports the Sales and Bid Management team and is working in close contact to our clients. We are part of the introduction of the newest turbine generations which is th key for one of the most relevant tasks of our time, ensuring a more sustainable future.
Responsibilities
As a Site Engineering Expert, you will have an important part in supporting our team and clients to shape site layouts that meet safety standards, environmental regulations, and economic feasibility. Your responsibilities will span from assessing site documentation to collaborating with stakeholders and ensuring data quality.
- Handle requests for site specific windfarm layout support and conduct a thorough check of provided documents
- Assess site complecity based on pre-defined conditions and identify next steps
- Collaborate with the team, the client and external stakeholders to agree on required actions to ensure feasibility
- Oversee the progress of the project specific support on portfolio level
- Support the manager of the team to create comprehensive reports for internal and external use
Qualifications
- Technical Education and engineering skills with 5+ years professional experience
- Demonstrated skills in creating MS Office-based analytics, applying VBA, and assessing data from different sources like SAP and Salesforce.
- Experience with Salesforce, AutoCAD, AutoTURN or comparable simulation software
- Solid communication abilities in both English and German.
- Driver license class B

Primary work location: the ideal candidate should be located near one of our main offices In Germany: Berlin, Hamburg, Husum, Rheine This position requires up to 70 days travel per year.
