Are you interested in new technology and have an electrical, mechanical, or hydraulics background? Do you enjoy working with your hands and bringing solutions to technical problems? We are looking for Service Technicians in several locations around Belgium. At Vestas, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and to be part of the journey in contributing to a greener world.

 

Responsibilities 

  • Complete maintenance on electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems as directed by Supervisor
  • Maintaining and upgrading installation activities
  • Carrying out a diversity of check-ups, repairs, and replacement activities of turbine components
  • Creating follow-up orders
  • Responsible for the operation of our turbines and use of our systems like Condition Monitoring / Remote Control
  • Contribute to a safe working environment in general
  • Registration of time and material consumption
  • Compliance with Vestas's and client's procedures, processes, policies, and instructions

 

Qualifications

  • Completed electrical or mechanical degree from a technical school/college/university
  • Fluent English, Dutch 
  • Ideally 2 years of experience in the electrical and mechanical field

  • Comfortable working offshore and at heights, coping with the respective challenges that this brings
  • You recognize your own limitations and willing to seek help when needed

Candidates living in the Netherlands close to the wind park area location in Oostende or willing to relocate.
