SCADA Sales Engineer

Be part of the growing and exciting renewable energy industry by joining the Vestas North America Regional SCADA Solutions Team which is tasked with the deployment and support of Wind Power Plant SCADA and control systems.

Position Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Sales, Technical Bid Managers, Engineers, and service teams to represent SCADA needs & technical abilities in the contracting phase of the project.
• Technical contract review; contract exhibit ownership, editing, writing, and collaboration to reach a mutual understanding between internal and external stakeholders.
• Direct interaction with internal and external stakeholders to answer questions, resolve customer relations issues and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Supports, guides, and directs project related activities and provides leadership in solving project related issues with the SCADA team.

Additional Duties:

• Anticipates potential issues, analyzes common assumptions, and identifies opportunities to circumvent delays.
• Support organizational continuous quality improvement processes to reduce flaws by generating standards for the SCADA team.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or business or combination of academic and relevant work experience in the wind industry is beneficial.
• 1-5 years of experience in/as a Contract Specialist, Technical Project Lead, process improvement, or other related experience in a related service, construction, industrial or manufacturing setting.
• Experience in SCADA, engineering, networking, electro-mechanical or electrical engineering (theoretical and practical) background.
• Practical experience with SCADA technologies, implementation, and installation.
• English communication skills (verbal, active listening, written, meeting management, presentation)
• PC computer skills (MS Office) required.
• Ability to work effectively with work groups across the organization.

• Inclusiveness - Achieves a culture of Execution Standards (safety focus, structure, work discipline) and continuous improvement within the organization to advance capability and performance in all operational areas. Makes recommendations and models improving area work processes.
