Procurement Performance Excellence (PEX) Specialist

The Procurement Performance Excellence (PEX) Specialist will oversee the development of processes, reporting, and analytics to improve the quality and operation of the regional team. You will work closely with all aspects of the regional procurement team along with stakeholders to ensure accurate data and dashboards. You will collaborate with global and other regional PEX representatives to ensure alignment and synergies on developing initiatives for high-quality procurement practices.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborating with stakeholders to identify, develop, and implement best practices, standardized procedures, and process improvements across all procurement activities.
- Guiding process implementation, system implementation (with global analytics team), and ensuring change management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Engineering (or mixed form of Supply Chain Management), or Economics.
- Minimum 2 years of working experience within Procurement or Supply Chain.
- Demonstrated analytic skills and ability to derive tangible actions from facts and data.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and SAP BI.
- Experience with cost programs, including cost analysis, is beneficial.
Competencies:
- Wind industry experience is beneficial, including familiarity with the supply base.
- Significant experience gathering market intelligence (understanding/interest in global markets, material trends, politics, etc.).
- Significant experience building business cases or strategies (for a category, commodity, piece of the supply chain, or for a business unit, etc.).
- Effective interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
- Solution-oriented, problem solver.
- Cross-cultural skills (will work as part of an international team).
- Ability to prioritize tasks despite tight deadlines.
- High-level business acumen (understanding of financial statements, cash flow, EBIT, inventory, etc.).
- Project management skills.
- Critical thinking skills.
- Advanced ability to create and deliver presentations and business cases.
