Responsibilities
- Implement HSE management system and deploy global HSE minimum standards and working practices
- Track KPIs and annual improvement plans and report performance to head of factory, global HSE and global P&C
- Lead (ISO) audits within the scope of ISO 14001, 45001 and 50001
- Secure required permits and licenses and ensure audit readiness
- Promote proactive HSE culture through safety meetings, campaigns, and recognition
- Ensure compliance with ISO 14001, 45001 and 50001 within the operation
Compentancies
- HSE management system: Ability to implement HSE standards and ensure compliance in daily operations.
- Risk management and controls: Ability to run risk assessments and ensure controls are effective.
- HSE KPI management: Ability to track HSE KPIs and implement annual improvement plans
- Audit and permit readiness: Ability to manage permits/licenses and conduct ISO audits with clear evidence
- Safety culture leadership: Ability to lead meetings and campaigns that change behavior and reduce incidents.
- Leadership skills: Decision quality, produces results, builds effective teams, Instills trust.
Qualifications
- HSE degree/diploma or equivalent qualification
- ISO 14001/45001/50001 internal auditor certification
- Incident investigation certification (e.g., ICAM/Tap RooT)
- First aid / emergency response certification (site requirements)
- 5+ years of experience in manufacturing operations
