People Resources Asia Team (Resource Pool) -part of Service Operations Support, working closely with Service Site Management through the Operations Planning team, to handle critical major works and turbine servicing in line with Vestas SOP including handling special Service projects.
Responsibilities
- Work to the highest safety and environmental standards while meeting all targets during routine service and special project assignments.
- Perform periodic inspections and servicing of wind turbines in line with SWI including handling of electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic troubleshooting and also able to replace component replacements-including major components-according to Vestas' specifications
- Able to carry out main component replacements using internal or external cranes with utmost care, ensuring safety, quality, and teamwork.
- Also able to maintain an efficient service vehicle handling and a well-stocked warehouse by ordering the required materials, tools, spare parts, and project stock when needed as per process.
Qalifications
- Electrical background 3 years/4 years of engineering course with having wind turbine experience of 3 to 4 years with practical experience diagnosing and fixing electrical and mechanical issues.
- Good computer skills; experienced in handling different tools or systems to monitor work and documentation-Good English skills, both written and spoken
- Should Have Valid Four-wheeler driver's license and able to drive in an international atmosphere.
- Experience in wind turbine installation and commissioning
- Rope access certification and experience.
Competencies
- Ability to climb a wind turbine and perform tough physical work in heights as well as in various weather conditions-Open to travel to other sites internal and oversea when required
- Enjoy working in teams and communicating with numerous stakeholders; you will work closely with others in the field but also connect with the wider business
- Solutions-oriented and well organized in your work
