Manufacturing and Global Procurement > COO NCE > PEX 

 

Within Vestas manufacturing, the Hammel factory is producing Converters and Electronics, and operates as an independent business unit, while being a part of Vestas’ global production. As a Lean engineer, you will be a part of a small team, PEX (Process Excellence), that consists of 2 colleagues. The PEX departments primary responsibility spans widely, but in essence, the main responsibility is to ensure the factory runs a competitive production, by coordinating projects and implementing lean methodologies. Thx PEX department supports both the Converter and the Electronics production, as well as warehouse.

 

Responsibilities

In close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, we expect that you focus towards making the factory cost-efficient and increasingly quality aware. The factory wants to be known as a highly competitive business unit, with the ability to deliver on targets. 

  • Ensuring the factories ability to compete, by establishing optimized value streams
  • Create business cases for prioritizing projects based on the factory’s targets, ensure progress and follow-up
  • Maturing the LEAN mindset and processes in the factory
  • Coaching managers, specialists, team leads, technicians, and operators
  • Analyzing complex deviations
  • Participate in improvement projects across Vestas

 

Qualifications

  • Have a relevant education on a bachelor’s level, as a minimum
  • Solid experience with the LEAN methods, project management and process- and production optimization
  • Comfortable and used to facilitating workshops and similar
  • Knowledge on ERP and MES systems, where SAP experience is desirable
  • Experienced user in Excel

  • Are fluent in Danish and English

Additional information
Your work location will be in Hammel, DK. Up to 15 travel days/year is expected.
