The Sales Business Unit (SBU) - Vestas Northern & Central Europe covers sales, construction and service of Vestas wind turbines in NCE countries Onshore and Offshore.

The service departments are responsible for maintenance, repair, and implementation of continuous improvement upgrades on our Vestas wind turbine systems within related countries. Teamwork and communication are key to expanding our influence in our quest to become the best Region within the Vestas Group.

 

Service & Construction Academy NCE is anchored within the Regional Operations department NCE. Key deliveries are technical & functional trainings Onshore and Offshore. Our key stakeholders are internal Service & Construction Technicians as well as Subcontractors and Customers. Focus is to deliver requested trainings on time and based on the growth within each NCE region.

 

Your job responsibilities

 

As Training Coordinator Subcontractor, you will ensure timely, accurate and cost-effective coordination of all technical and safety training for Vestas NCE with a focus on Subcontractors, working closely with the other Training Coordinators while being responsible for your own areas as well.

You will create and maintain relevant training tools and templates and remain up to date on current legislation related to training in all the markets Vestas operates in. As Training Coordinator Subcontractor, you will be the single point of contact for offering specialist support to our Subcontractors Onshore and Offshore from Service and Construction department that require Vestas-specific training.

 

You will also be responsible to

  • Support Sourcing in negotiating supplier agreements
  • Maintain relations with suppliers and subcontractors
  • Forecast and book technical training as well as safety-related courses
  • Create and manage POs/PRs for training activities
  • Maintain course and user administration in the Learning Management System
  • Arrange and book external courses
  • Assist line managers in organizing safety and technical training programs tailored to individual employees

 

Your qualifications

We are looking for a candidate who has good knowledge of and experience from the wind industry, or a candidate who has a background within training, administration, communication or similar. You can persuade and motivate your colleagues to learn new procedures and work styles while never compromising with our high safety standards. Being well-organized and able to guide the necessary training initiatives is key to this role.

  • Are a proficient user of Microsoft Office applications
  • Hold a relevant educational degree
  • Have skills to communicate in a clear and structured way, both written and verbally in English, German is a plus

  • Are structured, technical and have good attention to detail
  • Exhibit a friendly attitude and readiness to connect with individuals
  • Have good stress management skills
