About the department
The CPX Department oversees all wind power plant projects from initiation to completion. The team is responsible for the bidding process and remains involved until the contract is signed. They collaborate closely with procurement to define budgets and schedules, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. Also works with sales and legal teams to optimize energy yield within client specifications. The EPC & Balance of Plant (BoP) Bid Manager handles the infrastructure scope during the bid phase.

Your responsibilities – here's where you can get involved!
- You oversee the preparation, review, and commercial administration of tenders for renewable energy and infrastructure projects, ensuring proposals are competitive, compliant, and of high quality
- You create precise cost estimates and effective bid strategies for foundations, access roads, crane pads, and other balance-of-plant infrastructure
- You identify value-engineering opportunities and innovative technical solutions that optimize project costs, reduce risks, and enhance execution efficiency
- You manage commercial negotiations and contract award processes while developing positive relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers
- You collaborate across engineering, procurement, construction, and commercial teams to align tender strategies, project planning, and subcontractor engagement
- You contribute to FEED activities, risk assessments, and commercial evaluations, supporting informed decision-making throughout tender and pre-construction phases
- You continually refine estimating methods, cost databases, and risk management practices to improve bid competitiveness and project outcomes
- You play a vital part in securing new business by blending commercial insight, technical Excellence, and contract compliance to produce persuasive proposals
Your profile – what makes you well suited for this role
- You hold a degree (bachelor’s or master’s) in Civil Engineering and bring experience in EPC projects, infrastructure tendering, and project management, e.g. within the renewable energy sector
- You bring deep knowledge of tendering, cost estimation, and commercial management, along with the ability to create effective technical and commercial proposals from concept through contract award
- You possess solid knowledge of civil infrastructure works, including foundations, roads, and related construction activities; experience with wind farms, PV plants, battery plants, geotechnics, bridges, or on-site construction
- You understand FEED, project execution, risk management, and value engineering principles, enabling you to make sound commercial and technical decisions
- You negotiate agreements well and build productive connections with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors in a changing project landscape
- You have experience with performance monitoring, process management, and optimization, using data-driven insights to improve project efficiency and outcomes
- You communicate fluently in English and German and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary and international teams
- You offer well-developed analytical and organizational skills, supported by a structured style that prioritizes service and results
- You show initiative, manage responsibilities well, and contribute effectively within team-oriented, active settings
