The Vestas NCE Service Supply Chain Repair & Tools Department is responsible for the logistic and warehouse operations of harbor and vessel warehouses throughout NCE. We are supporting the Vestas Offshore Sites, Special Projects and other departments with functions to install, service and maintain the wind turbines in multiple windfarms across the European seas.

Your responsibilities – here's where you can get involved! 

 

In this role, people leadership is at the core of what you do:

  • You lead and support a team of warehouse employees preparing materials for offshore operations
  • You plan daily operations, clearly delegate tasks, and ensure transparent communication
  • You develop your team through coaching, regular feedback, and knowledge sharing
  • You lead regular team meetings and promote collaboration, motivation, and a strong safety mindset
  • You act as the primary point of contact for your team, including during questions, conflicts, or change processes
  • You work closely with offshore departments to ensure smooth coordination and timely material availability
  • You monitor KPIs and drive continuous improvements together with your team
  • You support audits and inspections and communicate requirements in a clear and practical way

 

 

Your profile – what makes you a great fit! 

 

Your soft skills and mindset are especially important to us:

  • Completed vocational training or a degree, e.g. in Communication Studies, Education, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a comparable field
  • Experience in leading, training, or supervising employees (e.g. as a team leader, trainer, instructor, or lecturer)
  • Excellent communication skills combined with an empathetic and appreciative approach
  • Strong coaching abilities, facilitation skills, and conflict resolution competence
  • A structured working style, strong time management, and organizational skills
  • A genuine interest in empowering people and delegating responsibility
  • A basic understanding of logistics processes and material flows (expert-level knowledge is not required)
  • Confident use of Microsoft and iOS applications; experience with SAP or other ERP systems is an advantage
  • A solution-oriented, open-minded, and eager-to-learn personality
  • You have a valid driving license and are willing to travel occasionally
  • Very good English (C1) and good German (B2) skills round off your profile
