Join our global team as a Blade Service Site Manager and oversee the maintenance and inspection operations for over 1000 turbines across Northern and Central Europe. In Northern Central Europe (NCE) Offshore, Special Projects handles a range of extensive and unique operations. Blade service sits within this and controls all aspects of our blade inspections and maintenance for the growing fleet of 1000+ turbines we have under our scope from next year.
Your responsibilities:
As a Blade Service Site Manager, you monitor all operations within a group of sites, including internal/external blade inspections and all maintenance operations including campaigns. You should expect to:
- Oversee and facilitate the management of diverse operational activities spanning numerous locations and assignments;
- ensure timely acquisition of resources, such as ships, crews, equipment, and supplies, maintaining the required standards of quality;
- Plan to prevent problems and resolve any emerging challenges;
- Analyse, control, and mitigate risks;
- Contributes actively to building and maintaining a good work ethic and team spirit in the department and the wider Vestas community;
Qualifications
- Experience in a comparable industry or job
- Experience in supervising teams and supervisors of teams
- Proven background in orchestrating and overseeing operations or the deployment of installation projects, with a focus on offshore environments
- Require familiarity with working directly in a hands-on capacity, potentially as a technician, or demonstrate adequate experience to oversee the operational aspects of practical task teams
- Blade experience or understanding is advantageous, but not mandatory

- Fluent written and spoken English (this is the working language in the team)
- Skilled in the Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
