Exciting Opportunity: Service Manager for Offshore Windfarm in Hamburg – Facilitate Success with Deutsche Bucht!
Deutsche Bucht Windfarm is an existing windfarm consisting of several Vestas V164/174 offshore wind turbines reporting into NCE Offshore - Cluster 1. We are recruiting a Hamburg based service manager to ensure safe and efficient operations at site but interaction with the customer also located in Hamburg. You will have the opportunity to work in an exciting industry and in a team of highly motivated employees.
Responsibilities
- As Service Manager, you will be working with the site and reporting to the Service Director in Cluster 1.
- You will be P&L responsible for your site and be fully responsible for the service delivery including people management and complex logistics (SOV, multiple CTVs, etc.)You will be guiding the site team to ensure that they deliver optimized operation of Customer asset encompassing Quality, HSE, production performance, asset security, operations and maintenance activities and employee development
- You will work closely with the Customer Manager on the project to ensure positive customer relationship.
Qualifications
- Established positive experience with leadership and people management in an Offshore environment in the wind business with established positive people and site management skills
- Extensive experience on an offshore project within Germany or global experience from other offshore industries and potentially knowledge of operating a SOV (Service Operation Vessel) setup in an Offshore Wind Farm Good business skills and a customer-focused, solution- and improvement-oriented mindset
- Financial insight and experience with full P&L responsibility capabilities, which includes knowledge of key figures and KPIs
- Fluency in English and in German, both verbally and in writing
Competencies
- Good leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and develop others, but also to receive feedback, and be prepared to accept a change
- You take full ownership of issues in your area until a solution has been identified and implemented and is supported by the business You will need great communication skills, combined with a commercial and strategic mindset and experience with change and conflict management
- Good stakeholder management skills and a curious attitude, always aiming to understand the need of our customer, but also the internal capabilities and the borders of an OEM
- Structured and focused on the important details, while thriving in an innovative and fast-growing environment
- Good IT skills, and experienced with Office applications are essential to support frequent reporting to the Service Director

The primary work location is Hamburg in Germany. In this role you will report to the Service Director.
