Global Offshore Strategy sits at the center of decision-making for Vestas' offshore business-shaping its long-term direction and enabling senior leadership to make high-quality, forward-looking decisions on the most critical topics. Our work spans:

  • Identifying and assessing strategic opportunities and risks
  • Structuring complex problems and developing clear, actionable recommendations
  • Managing key governance processes and decision forums at the highest levels of the organization
  • Partnering closely with senior stakeholders to ensure strategy translates into execution and measurable impact

We operate as a small, effective team with direct influence on the priorities, performance, and future trajectory of Vestas' offshore business.

Responsibilities:

As part of the team, you will operate at the core of strategic decision-making and execution across Vestas' offshore business. You will join a high-performing team and work closely with senior stakeholders across regions and functions.

Reporting to the Vice President of Global Offshore Strategy, your responsibilities will include:

  • Driving strategic problem solving-structuring ambiguous problems, leading rigorous analysis, and synthesizing insights into clear decision points
  • Owning high-impact projects end-to-end-from framing the problem to delivering tangible outcomes and ensuring follow-through in the organization
  • Shaping and guiding decisions-aligning senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams around a shared direction across regions and key functions
  • Enabling executive decision-making-preparing sharp, top-down materials and insights for the Global Offshore Leadership Team

This role combines structured strategy work with real accountability for outcomes-and offers a rare opportunity to support decisions and execution at the highest level of a global industry leader.

Qualifications:

We are looking for candidates with a strong consulting toolkit and a demonstrated ability to create impact in complex environments.

You likely bring experience from:

  • Management consulting and/or an in-house strategy function (+6 years)
  • Leading large, cross-functional initiatives in matrixed organizations
  • Offshore wind or closely related industries is a plus
  • Linking tasks to financial impact and understanding

Competencies:

The ideal candidate combines structured thinking with strong execution drive and stakeholder impact. We expect that:

  • You create clarity from complexity - structuring ambiguous problems, simplifying processes, and communicating with precision and top-down logic
  • You bring people on board - influencing peers, senior leaders, and cross-functional teams to align around a common direction
  • You get things done - owning outcomes end-to-end, moving from early-stage thinking to tangible results with accountability and pace

What we offer:

We offer a high-impact role in a collaborative and motivated team, with direct exposure to senior leadership and critical strategic decisions.

As part of Vestas, a worldwide company in renewable energy, you will:

  • Work on the most strategic topics shaping the future of offshore wind in Vestas
  • Gain direct access to executive-level decision-making and governance forums
  • Operate in a changing, international environment with significant responsibility and ownership
  • Play a key role in translating strategy into execution and tangible business outcomes

This role is well-suited for candidates looking to transition from consulting into an in-house position with real ownership, meaningful responsibility, and a clear pathway toward broader leadership roles within the organization.

Your benefits – because your contribution counts:

  • Start & Perspective: Structured onboarding program and a permanent employment contract with long-term prospects
  • Development & Skills: Varied work in a forward-looking industry and individual opportunities for professional growth
  • Flexibility & Work-Life Balance: Overtime account, option to work from home up to 8 days per month, 30 days of vacation plus Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve off, and the option for a sabbatical
