Vestas Technology & Operations> Quality> Supplier Quality and Development
This position is part of the Supplier Quality & Development in Vestas NCE region, which coordinates SQ&D activities and ensures the highest focus on quality, safety and environment when developing and delivering the different category strategies while not compromising on Vestas's standards and processes. The key task is to deploy strategic and operational development of key suppliers in the NCE region by performing audits, supplier assessments, and leading QSE improvement projects to enforce high supplier performance, zero incidents, and reduce the number of non-conformities.

 

Responsibilities 
•    Deploy the Vestas Quality, Safety and Environment Strategy towards external suppliers of Hybrid Towers. Further tasks and responsibilities include:
•    Facilitate supplier quality, capability, and performance topics on behalf and in compliance with regional & global strategy
•    Implement sourcing strategy by new suppliers qualification and development, ensuring Vestas processes are followed
•    Manufacturing process audits
•    Development and qualification of new products acc. to APQP4Wind/PPAP 
•    Secure agreement with stakeholders team in defining supplier improvement activities
•    Facilitate Supplier Performance Review Meetings and develop and conduct supplier development projects


Qualifications 
•    Master's or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering
•    8+ years of hands-on experience on a similar positions
•    Previous experience in Wind or Construction Industry 
•    ISO 9001/14001/45001 lead auditor, APQP4Wind and VDA 6.3 process audit certifications will be welcomed

 

Competencies 

Furthermore, we are looking for a profile who has/is:
•    Fluency in English and German
•    Competency in data analytics and good problem-solving skills
•    Good communication skills, oral and written, and a strong meeting facilitator with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders within an international environment
•    Motivated, independent learning & critical thinking skills combined with the ability to identify and deliver actionable solutions to complex problems
