SCADA Operations is part of the Service Business Unit NCE (Northern & Central Europe) and supports the organisation in selling, installing and servicing a large number of SCADA systems controlling medium and large sized wind power plants. Our customers can mainly be found among larger power supply companies and professional investors.

 

Responsibilities

As a SCADA technician (f/m/d) you will be responsible for implementing power control concepts, local options, and other automated functionalities in power plants based on Vestas standards and customer specific requirements. You ensure knowledge transfer as well as all kind of solutions around our SCADA products to resolve issues/projects with moderate complexity.

 

  • Engineering of power plant control software to meet the site-specific requirements
  • Support the SCADA project from kick-off to end of life-time
  • SCADA system setup, maintenance and fault finding
  • Technical documentation
  • Remote commissioning and support
  • SCADA system upgrades and engineering of After Sales Projects
  • Fault finding

 

 

Qualifications

  • Technical education in electro technique (electronics, mechatronics, energy techniques, etc.)
  • Industrial electricity and electronics knowledge
  • Knowledge and experience of computer networks and their configuration
  • Some experience in technical support in mentioned areas
  • Knowledge of automation, communication protocols, and automation Hardware would be appreciated
  • Strong English skills, both in speech and writing; German is a plus

Additional information

Primary work location would be Hamburg, Husum or Berlin in Germany

Travelling activities around 10 % will be expected.
