SCADA Engineer (m/f/d) Offshore at our main office in Hamburg

Plant Engineering team is responsible for Grid & Control, Server & Data, Network, Cyber Security & Multibrand installations and maintenance. Our team provide support at sales phase, execution in construction phase, and technical support during the service and maintenance of the Plants. We are responsible for both the hardware and software and have teams that specialise in the various tasks.

Due to all these activities, we are in close contact with Research and Development, group functions, regional organisations, authorities, and end users. With more than 150 engineers, we are the largest engineering function in the sales business unit of Vestas Northern and Central Europe.

For this position we are looking for a SCADA Engineer, who can support our growing fleet of offshore wind farms. You will be working with our latest technology and delivering complex solutions to our customers.

Responsibilities

• Take part in the design and configuration of complex redundancy concepts for offshore wind farms
• Configure and commission SCADA servers according to the site specific requirements
• Perform FAT/SAT for offshore projects with demanding customers
• Be an active member of a project team consisting of people with different skills and expertise, your focus area will be the SCADA server

Qualifications

As a professional we envision you as an individual can reflect yourself in the following:

• Relevant education within Automation or Information Technology or similar
• Experience in commissioning and maintenance of server operating systems, preferably from the wind industry
• Knowledge of VMware
• Knowledge of networking and their configuration
• Strong English skills, both verbal and written at least B2 level
• Valid Driver's License
