About the department

 

Business Improvements and Processes is a department within the Project Management Office (PMO) in Onshore Customer Project Execution (CPX) under the Northern and Central Europe (NCE) business unit at Vestas. The PMO aims to help the region execute onshore customer projects effectively. Business Improvements & Processes will ensure the regional Customer Project Execution business has the necessary framework, processes and systems to execute the projects. The area of Business Improvements & Processes will also support the business in running improvement initiatives and ensure alignment of these initiatives with Global Customer Project Execution.

Your responsibilities – here's where you can get involved! 

 

  • You coordinate and assess business improvement projects that enable our NCE Onshore CPX teams to complete customer projects efficiently and with positive outcomes
  • You oversee improvement projects from start to finish by setting a clear scope, defining goals and success measures, and aligning stakeholders from kickoff through delivery
  • You track progress and performance throughout the project, identify risks early, clear obstacles, and keep work moving forward
  • You partner with cross-functional groups to maintain transparency, shared direction, and effective decisions
  • You bring structure to project planning and control, ensuring timelines, resources, and priorities are effectively managed
  • You evaluate and prioritize incoming project requests, focusing on the highest-impact opportunities
  • You create and maintain clear documentation and deliver timely, high-quality reporting that keeps stakeholders informed and engaged 

 

Your profile – what makes you well suited for this role

 

  • You hold a degree in business administration, economics, or engineering
  • You have built solid project management experience, e.g. in a consultancy setting and with a focus on defining effective ways of working
  • You understand the value chain of Vestas or another OEM which helps you navigate complexity and create impact faster
  • You bring experience from a comparable industry, working on large-scale construction projects with exposure to IT-related projects
  • You navigate cross-cultural settings with ease, tailoring your communication to different audiences and situations
  • You prioritize effectively, even in time-sensitive situations, and stay focused on what matters most
  • You collaborate across the value chain, identifying and engaging the right stakeholders to move work forward
  • You create productive connections and bring refined interpersonal and stakeholder management abilities across all levels of the organization
  • You understand business processes and thrive in cross-functional environments.
  • You focus on finding solutions, take initiative, and consistently seek opportunities to improve processes
  • Very good English skills, both written and spoken, round off your profile
