Optimise Performance as Our Operations Performance Specialist!

The Operations Development Team supports the Service Management of region Service Central, which is responsible for the preventive and corrective maintenance of wind farms located mainly in Germany and Austria. We are a team of interdisciplinary experts and pursue the goal of ensuring continuous improvement and supporting the implementation of the service strategy. We provide daily business support to enable our operational colleagues to reach our targets to deliver the Service KPIs, as well as implementing and monitoring cost savings and efficiency initiatives.

In your role as Operations Performance Specialist you will manage the Performance Management and Business Strategy Development in our region in close collaboration with the Service Management Team and regional and global stakeholders.

 

 

Your responsibilities

  • Manage and monitor key performance indicators and communicate to responsible stakeholders, including Budget planning, monitoring and forecasting
  • Prepare and moderate operational performance meetings on regional level, aligning with stakeholders across the organization and follow-up on action plans
  • Provide root cause analysis and develop business cases, encouraging the business to move to the next level of control
  • Govern and follow-up on prioritized local initiatives to improve our KPIs, e.g. for cost efficiency
  • Engage with different regional / global stakeholders and the Management Team to implement change and operational performance improvements
  • Creation and maintenance of overviews utilizing available tools such as Excel, Power BI, and others

 

Your qualification

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree or equivalent in Engineering, Business Administration or equivalent education
  • 3+ years of professional experience with background in business/performance analytics and operational business development
  • Experience in service business within the wind energy industry (not mandatory)
  • Fluent in English and German

  • Adept analytical skills and methodical approach to your work
  • High ability to effectively structure tasks and plan complex activities
  • Engaged and problem-solving mindset, efficient communicator
  • Curious and motivated with focus on completing tasks and personal growth
  • Good facilitation, presentation skills and storytelling on Management level
  • Proficient user of MS Office

Additional Information

The position reports directly to Senior Manager Operational Development Central and can be located in Hamburg, Berlin or Husum in Germany or in Vienna in Austria.

For candidates from Austria: The compensation is significantly above the collective agreement minimum salary (collective agreement minimum salary in the metal industry for usage group IV. in the 1st year: € 3.341,50 (monthly salary) - credited years in usage groups also increase the minimum salary).
