About the Department:
The Vestas Offshore Supply Chain Department is responsible for the logistic and warehouse operations on board of the Service Operations Vessels and Jack-Up Vessels. We are supporting the Vestas Offshore Special Projects and Service Departments which installs, services and maintains the wind turbines in multiple windfarms across the European seas.

Your responsibilities – here's where you can get involved!
- You are responsible for picking, issuing and receiving materials and spare parts for and from teams of technicians.
- You are in ongoing communication with the Service organization and technician teams to ensure the timely supply of necessary tools, spare parts and equipment.
- You are responsible for maintaining stock levels and inventory records in the SAP ERP system.
- You are ensuring accurate material postings and conducting regular inventories.
- You are ensuring order and cleanliness in the warehouse and work areas, while maintaining compliance with all health and safety requirements.
- You are coordinating the transport of goods and customs clearance during regular port calls.
- You are managing PPE, hoists, testing tools and other equipment requiring periodic inspections, testing or calibration.
- You are acting as the appointed person for calibration activities on site.
- You are requesting quotations for local purchases and initiating the creation of purchase orders.
- You are ensuring proper waste handling, disposal and offloading procedures on the vessel and in port.
- You are coordinating ad-hoc spare parts deliveries to the wind farm.
- You are supporting the Service Site Management team with a variety of organizational and administrative tasks.
Your profile – what makes you a great fit!
- You have completed an apprenticeship and/or hold a degree in warehouse management, logistics, or a related field.
- You have experience working in a warehouse environment; experience within the wind industry is considered an advantage.
- You hold a valid driving license.
- You have experience with customs clearance and customs declarations, which is beneficial for this role.
- You are proficient in using SharePoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, TMS, and ERP systems such as SAP or Microsoft Dynamics AX.
- You have strong communication skills and are confident communicating in English.
- You have solid office and site management skills.
- You have strong time management and planning skills and can effectively prioritize multiple tasks.
- You are committed to adhering to and complying with all applicable local laws and regulations.
