Take the next step and start your journey as a Marine Operations Manager Offshore (m/f/d) at our site in Hamburg.
You will be part of the specialist department Operation Logistics Offshore department dealing with aviation, ports, crew transfer, accommodation and walk to work vessels chartered in to work for Vestas. Your focus will be on our European operation of C/SOVs.

Your responsibilities – here's where you can get involved!
- You ensure vessels are fully project-ready—coordinating inspections, shaping practical procedures, and embedding best practices from day one
- You manage supplier communications and help resolve contract-related or operational challenges when needed
- You spot opportunities to improve and streamline logistical concepts supporting Commissioning and Service
- You act as a trusted advisor to Sales, Construction, and Service teams on vessel-related topics, connecting people and solutions across teams
- You offer guidance during BIMCO contract negotiations and play an important part in securing C/SOV tenders
Your profile – what makes you well suited for this role
- You bring a solid academic foundation in engineering (mechanical, civil, or marine) or a nautical degree—paired with practical experience in the offshore wind or maritime industry
- You bring effective project management skills together with a keen commercial and contractual perspective, while keeping the broader business implications of your decisions in view
- You have in-depth knowledge of vessel design, marine operations, and key inspection and safety standards (e.g. IMCA, SOLAS)
- You perform well when working on your own or alongside diverse teams from around the world, offering a global outlook
- Your clear communication and IT skills help you stay organized and complete tasks efficiently
- You show initiative, maintain momentum, and skillfully prioritize, plan, and complete tasks to keep projects on track
- Very good English skills, both written and spoken, round off your profile
