Manager BOP (f/m/d) Construction NCE

Construction is responsible for installing, commissioning and finally handover wind farms to our customers. Working closely together with the customer and other stakeholders is a key parameter to ensure this happens safely, cost efficient and with a high-quality standard.

 

Sales > SBU NCE > Construction NCE

The BoP Project Management ensures that civil and electrical works for Wind Turbine Installation projects are planned and completed within the scope of the contract, on time and within budget. Customer relationship management, quality control, safety and leadership towards the project team are key tasks within this role.

 

As the Manager (f/m/d) BoP Construction NCE, you will act as the connector between all relevant stakeholders from Sales Support, Project Planning, Contract Management and Project Execution. In this highly visible position, you will work regularly with senior management as well as a wide range of stakeholders in Northern and Central Europe.

 

Responsibilities

  • You will be responsible for the disciplinary leadership and development of the sub department "BoP Construction", which is set up as an international team of currently four colleagues
  • We look forward on seeing you ensuring the continuous communication and increased collaboration with internal stakeholders of the construction life cycle as well as the partnership with Global Construction for standardization of processes
  • Challenging as much as supporting new product developments from a BoP will be one of your operational tasks
  • Starting with the handover from Sales, the BoP Project Manager guides a team of designers to develop a site specific layout and directs the planning of resources and milestones needed for effective execution of civil and electrical works. Continuous updates will be performed during the different phases of the projects and all stakeholders are informed by the BoP Project Manager using the agreed tools. As the Manager (f/m/d) it is your responsibility to improve current structures, and make strategically smart alterations.
  • BoP Project Management is the key contact for the customer for civil and electrical works. Management of the supply contract, technical communication, billing lists/invoices, claims, open issues and general relationship management are key tasks

 

Qualifications

  • You have successfully accomplished a university degree in a science- or engineering field with several years of experience as a project manager in the energy industry or building industry
  • Your experience proves first leadership roles in a team leading or managing function
  • You are promoting structured and flexible working methods paired with a strategic mindset
  • You are confident in handling common MS Office applications
  • Your communication skills in English and German, both written and verbal, are solid

  • Team spirit is as important for you as the cross-departmental work, so you also showcase quick comprehension
  • You like to think outside-the box and have a professional interest in strategy, making intelligent and collaborative changes and steps.
  • You are willing to travel (mostly within Europe), ideally because you already have gained, or show interest in cross cultural insights and understanding
