We're seeking a Manager to work with a high-skilled team that focuses on technical performance excellence by analyzing turbine signals, creating visualizations to detect improvement, and supporting the Service business to improve the WTGs performance

Performance Engineering is a sub department of Service Operations NCE, which supports the On- and Offshore Service and Construction business with technical knowledge and acting as the link between engineering and the local service regions.

The team consists of 18 team members, right now, expanding to 24 colleagues. The main area of support is improvement of the turbine performance, from an operational and technical point of view.

 

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for own department and employees, considering their effect on other parts of the value chain by delivering technical support
  • Build a safety culture within your team
  • Take responsibility for department deliverables, delegating work as needed
  • Guide decisions on employment conditions and staffing arrangements in collaboration with local P&C business partners
  • Oversee the budget in your department, ensuring cost consciousness and adherence to approved site budgets
  • Build data management strategy, including PowerBI roadmap
  • Direct, facilitate, and deliver results through operational and tactical decisions, focusing on KPI targets

 

Qualifications

  • 2+ years leading in data analysis management, PowerBI (specialist), focusing on strategy creation and implementation
  • 3+ years of leadership experience 
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent important
  • Familiarity with management principles and people oversight
  • Experience in distance management, planning and coordinating remotely
  • Knowledge of wind turbines and PowerBI((Six Sigma Green or Black Belt is a beneficial)
  • General understanding of high-level service processes
  • Fluent in English (both verbal and written) and proficient in using Microsoft Office

Additional Information

The position reports directly to Senior Manager, Performance Engineering and can be located in Hamburg in Germany.
