Sales> SBU NCE> Construction NCR> Construction Engineering & Planning > Construction Quality

 

Construction Engineering WTG & Site Support is responsible to maintain and improve Vestas Quality standards and to enable a flawless installation process. Being an interface between Construction Site Operations, Project Management and the Technical / Vestas Power Solutions and Global QSE department the team is providing solutions to the relevant stakeholders to reduce cost of poor quality and by that to increase customer satisfaction. Knowledge sharing, interaction with various stakeholders and a high level of safety and quality awareness are key aspects of the work in the Construction Engineering WTG & Site Support team.

 

Responsibilities

•    Lead and establish the team in strategic and operational decisions including perfromance measurement and management of team with defined KPIs, targets & regiular reviews

•    Ensure stakeholder alignment with Power Solutions, TOS, Global Construction, Sourcing, QHSE and Construction to improve the quality level 
•    Ensure improvement of data quality in relation to NCM and driving analyses and improvement initiatives based on NCM
•    Implementation of corrective actions and improvement initiatives related to the WTG in cooperation with VPS, platform management and turbine engineering
•    Documentation of actions and measurements
•    Leading of turbine related continuous quality improvement initiatives and quality projects
•    Leading of quality audits with existing quality departments and communication of results to all relevant stakeholders (Market sourcing quality etc.)


Qualifications

•    Bachelors or Masters degree in Business, Logistics, International Business, Supply Chain Management, Quality Management or similar
•    Understanding of market consistence and handling of non-conformities 
•    Strong understanding of the financial impact of decisions with respect to project budgets, contracts and overall organization objectives.
•    Strong computer skills
•    Fluent English language skills, both verbal and written, good German skills are of an advantage. 
•    Strong ability to work effectively with work groups across the organization.
