Your responsibilities – here's where you can get involved! 

  • Provide Cyber Security support for offshore SCADA, networks, and industrial control systems.
  • Act as the go‑to internal consultant for OT network and security topics.
  • Support technicians with secure remote access, firewalls, user management, and network hardening.
  • Deliver real-time remote support via our hotline setup.
  • Join a rotating on-call schedule, including occasional weekends.
  • Work shift hours between 06:00–18:00 CET when required.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, IT Security, and 3rd-level teams on security improvements.
  • Support audits and ensure compliance with industrial security standards.
  • Mentor junior engineers and share your cybersecurity expertise.
  • Communicate with stakeholders via phone, email, and ticketing systems.
  • Drive knowledge sharing and continuous improvement of security processes.
  • Support commissioning activities from first setup to operational handover. 

 

Your profile – what makes you a great fit! 

  • You have at least 2–3 years of practical experience working with cybersecurity standards and frameworks such as IEC 62443, NIS‑2, and KRITIS‑V, ideally in industrial or critical‑infrastructure environments.
  • You bring 2+ years of hands‑on experience configuring and maintaining industrial routers and switches from different vendors (e.g., Hirschmann, Moxa, Cisco, RuggedCom).
  • You have solid, demonstrable experience working with Cisco® network equipment, including configuration, hardening, and troubleshooting.
  • You have initial experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper‑V, Proxmox)
  • You possess strong debugging and analytical skills, backed by advanced practical experience in troubleshooting complex network issues in operational environments.
  • Experience with industrial electrical systems (e.g., substations, automation cabinets, control systems) is a strong advantage.
  • You have basic knowledge with industrial communication protocols such as MODBUS, IEC‑104, or OPC UA — or a strong willingness to deepen this expertise.
  • You have strong practical experience working with both Windows Server and Linux environments (installation, configuration, and system administration basics).
  • You communicate confidently in English (C1 level) and German (B2 level), both written and spoken.
