Embark on a new journey with Vestas! As a Lead Cost Specialist (m/w/d) in our Customer Project Execution (CPX) Department, you'll develop and oversee CPX budgets for various projects or regions. You'll collaborate with stakeholders across Onshore and Offshore Sales, CPX Procurement, and VPS, acting as a sparring partner. This role bridges technical and commercial understanding, offering extensive development opportunities and insights into the full value chain.

Department
The CPX organization is responsible for installing, commissioning, and handing over wind farms to customers. You'll join the Cost Management team for the NCE Region, working on Onshore and Offshore projects. This team develops and maintains construction costing standards for Vestas projects, delivering high-quality project budgets to support sales and implementation. You'll be part of an inclusive, international team of eight.
Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee construction budget management across multiple regions or large-scale project portfolios.
- Act as a sparring partner for senior functions in Bid Management and Project Management during the Sales phase.
- Supervise the cost management team and commence efforts to enhance cost efficiency.
- Facilitate and assist in the advancement of new product developments to promote cost transparency.
- Develop and enhance cost estimation models and processes linked to cost creation and benchmarking.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Economics, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in budgeting, cost modeling, and data analysis.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel; experience with SQL and BI tools.
- Some knowledge of the wind industry, construction environment, or complex infrastructure projects.
- Fluent in English.

Primary work location: Hamburg, Germany
Expected travel: approximately 50 travel days per year
