Finance > Region NCE > BPM Project Controlling North & West
The BPM Sales and Construction Department is responsible for ensuring accurate financial sales and construction forecasts for volumes, profitability, and cash flow. The department also ensures transparency and performance improvements across the board.
NCE BPM Construction Department consists of three regions: North Region, Central Region, and Offshore. The BPM Construction team is responsible for the financial control of all new wind farms within the Northern & Central Europe region of Vestas (NCE).
BPM Construction - North Region is a team of four, based in the UK, Poland, and Hamburg. The team includes a manager and three controllers, each covering a specific area of responsibility: i) UK/Ireland, ii) Nordic countries, iii) Poland/Baltic countries. Our main stakeholders are in Finance and Construction.
Responsibilities
- Month End Closing for allocated Company Code(s)
- Carrying out full Project Reviews with Project Managers in preparing for monthly Steering Group Meetings Reporting/Controlling; Revenue, Costs, Cash and Risk/Opportunities
- Providing explanation for deviations to budget and forecast and all P&L impacts
- Providing annual Audit requests and information for monthly SOX Controls
Qualifications
- A degree in Finance, Business Administration, Commerce, Accounting, Engineering, or a related field
- 1+ years of experience in a Project Controlling or Finance environment
- Proficiency in SAP or other ERP systems, with relevant hands-on experience
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of financial control principles and practices
