Finance > Region NCE > Financial Controlling
As Financial Controller (m/f/d) you will be part of the Financial Controlling team in region Northern and Central Europe (NCE) and collaborate closely with the rest of the Finance organization in the NCE region but also with the Group Finance function in Copenhagen and Shared Service Center located in Manila. The Operations team is responsible for monthly IFRS reporting to Group, as well as local financial reporting.

Responsibilities 

• Timely and efficient closing process and submission of monthly and annual reporting packages
• Controlling of Balance Sheet and investigation of issues
• VAT reporting together with other external reporting
• Development of Financial processes
• Coordination and support of audit requests
• Ensure adherence to Group financial processes, compliance rules/policies and Vestas’ guidelines
• Work on initiatives to improve processes

Qualifications 

• Degree in Finance, Controlling, Accounting, or a related field, combined with 3+ years of experience in finance within an international company
• Strong controlling and accounting skills 
• Experience with SAP ERP FI & CO modules or SAP S/4HANA is an advantage
• Fluency in English; knowledge of a Benelux language and/or local accounting standards is an asset

• Experience working in a multinational environment with strong stakeholder management skills
• Strong finance and accounting knowledge, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
• Flexible mindset, comfortable in navigating and driving change
• Analytical thinker with a proactive approach; works well independently and takes initiative
• Highly self-organized, accountable, and an effective collaborator with developed interpersonal skills
