Commissioning Management, Site Compliance & Site Quality is a team consisting of 7 employees across Denmark, Sweden and UK. We are now looking for a new team member to join us and oversee the German market. The project managers ensure good planning, preparation, execution and finalization for commissioning activities on our construction projects.  The Electrical Operations & Safety Specialists ensure the projects are working according to Vestas standards and rules.

 

Responsibilities

The Electrical Operations & Safety Specialist (m/f/d) is responsible for:

  • Guaranteeing that Vestas' standards for Electrical Safety and Control of Hazardous Energy are implemented and maintained during construction
  • Preparing, reviewing, and approving LOTO and documentation, including RAMS, method statements.
  • Acting as Control Person for HV switching and ensures correct application of HV Safety Rules up to energization.
  • Conducting audits, verifies isolations, and approves safety processes prior to system energization.
  • Finally, the role advises project management on required training, tools, PPE, and safe work boundaries on site. Furthermore, the larger team is carrying out audits to see if CPX is working according to safety standards

 

Qualifications

We are looking for a Germany-based candidate bringing the following experience:

  • Educational background in the electrical field
  • At least two years of direct experience working with turbines
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the Operations of Electrical Installations standard EN50110 (Part 1) - General Requirements
  • Experienced in both spoken and written English and fully experienced in both written and spoken German

Additional information
