The NCE region covers more than 40 legal entities i.e. Sweden, Norway, Denmark, UK, Germany, Netherlands, Austria, Poland, Romania, Czech. The wide span of legal entities in combination of a centralized finance function requires the finance team to be structured, flexible and open for continuous change. The Regional Finance team in NCE is covering business and financial controlling activities for the region.
Responsibilities
- Heading the BPM Sales team within NCE Finance, reporting to the Senior Vice President, CFO Finance NCE
- Acting as a Finance Business Partner to Sales Management, ensuring effective reporting and clear communication of financial metrics to support full business understanding
- Promoting data-driven business decisions based on financial insights, incorporating a strategic perspective while ensuring compliance with audit and regulatory requirements
- Providing primary financial support for business development initiatives and financial requests (e.g., Tax, Accounting)
- Promoting the exchange of best practices and benchmarking throughout the region
- Managing risk assessment and approval processes for sales deals (incl. precalculations), applying a “check and challenge” approach
- Coordinating and running planning activities, including Forecasting, Budgeting, and Strategic Planning exercises
- Acting as a bridge between Group and Region on financial topics, including financial reporting, compliance/audit updates, planning processes, and financial governance
- Managing finance-related projects across business and group initiatives (e.g., acquisitions, systems, company integrations, end-to-end projects)
- Performing high-quality ad hoc, cross-functional analyses to support Sales Management decision-making, including risk mitigation scenarios
Qualifications
- Several years of experience in business finance or a related field, preferably within the renewable energy industry
- University degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Statistics preferred
- Demonstrated solid commercial understanding with the ability to link business decisions to financial outcomes
- Extensive experience in team management and leading managers
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Experience working in a multinational, matrix organization
- Fluent in English (written and spoken); German is a strong advantage
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 applications (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Teams)
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team, including in geographically dispersed environments
