The Service Sales Department Northern & Central Europe. The Service Sales Department is a high performing department reporting to the Senior Vice President of Service who is member of the Northern & Central Europe leadership team. We are responsible for the commercial growth strategy for the Region. We set strategic direction and develop best practice and efficiency across our Region. In addition, we work very closely with our Service Account teams across the Region on commercial matters such as lead generation, sales pipeline management, contract deal support, pricing and margin management.

 

The Service Sales organization drives growth within four service business areas:

1) Maintenance: Service contracts for new power plants and our large installed fleet

2) Parts & repair: Spare parts and repair offerings outside service contracts

3) Fleet optimization: Upgrade products optimizing profitability of the installed fleet

4) Multi-Brand: Service contracts for servicing other OEMs wind turbines

 

Business Development Specialist (f/m/d) is a position anchored in the Service Sales Department Office Northern and Central Europe for which we need a creative, highly motivated person who understands the wind business, but who is at the same time not limited by the known and able to identify game changers for services.

 

Responsibilities

  • Develop and drive a service growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction, own the yearly Service strategy process for the Region
  • Conduct research to identify new segments and customer needs through interaction and active participation with relevant stakeholders
  • Develop new services/ service solutions based on the research above and promote the company’s services addressing or predicting customers objectives
  • Provide feedback and after-sales support and to Global services on portfolio development
  • Develop new service sales staff into valuable salespeople 
  • Report progress and results to Service Sales Head and other interested stakeholder groups
  • Identify and share best practices across service business areas, and ensure that these are widely adopted, contribute and drive various other work streams, such as process optimization

 

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in relevant area e.g. Business Development
  • Services sales and delivery experience  
  • Experience in similar position, ideally of the renewable energy market
  • Fluent English skills both spoken and written, good language skills of the country of location are of benefit (German, Swedish or Danish)
  • Proven leadership, Sales and change management track record
  • Strong PC computer skills (MS Office) is required, SAP knowledge highly preferred
