About the department
The Cost Management & New Markets department is part of Customer Project Execution (CPX), the organization responsible for the installation, commissioning, and handover of wind farms to our customers. We work closely with customers and internal stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered safely, with high quality, and in a cost-efficient manner.
The department is responsible for all CPX cost-related topics during the sales phase of Onshore projects, including budgeting, cost governance, value engineering, cost transparency, and continuous development of costing methodologies and tools. In addition, the team supports CPX's expansion into new markets through due diligence activities, risk assessments, and compliance with country-specific operational requirements.
As Lead Cost Analyst, you will become part of an international team that works closely together to deliver effective project budgets, guide better commercial choices, and enable profitable project delivery across Northern and Central Europe.

Your responsibilities – here's where you can get involved!
- You own and continuously develop project budgets for some of the largest renewable energy projects across Northern and Central Europe, helping turn long-term visions into reality
- You partner with Sales, Bid Management, Engineering, and Project Execution teams to create effective, commercially solid solutions
- You identify cost optimization opportunities, implement Value Engineering initiatives, and contribute directly to improving project profitability and business performance
- You create cost transparency through data-driven insights, enabling informed decision-making and supporting strategic growth
- You advance cost management by creating new costing standards, methods, and digital tools that improve efficiency and accuracy
- You advance cost Excellence organizationwide by promoting best practices, increasing cost awareness, and equipping teams to make more effective decisions
Your profile – what makes you well suited for this role
- You bring a degree in Engineering, Finance, Business Administration,or Economics, paired with experience in Cost Management, Project Controls, Commercial Project Management, Bid Management, or a similar discipline
- You combine solid analytical skills with a commercial mindset, turning complex data into actionable insights and sound business decisions
- You are comfortable working with complex technical, infrastructure, or large-scale project environments and enjoy solving challenging problems
- You communicate fluently in English, while German language skills are an advantage
- You leverage digital tools, reporting solutions, and process improvement initiatives to improve efficiency and continuous enhancement
- You approach your work with curiosity, pursue continuous improvement, and apply a structured, solution-focused mindset
- You develop productive relationships, coordinate with stakeholders effectively, and shape decisions through clear, meaningful communication
- You partner with colleagues across functions, teams, and levels to deliver value in a global, changing environment
