Working as a Master Scheduler you are part of the of Service Operations department in the region DACH, which includes South Germany (Bavaria, Baden-Württemberg, Hesse, Rhineland Palatinate, Thuringia Saarland) Austria, Hungary and Switzerland. The two main task are going to be support for the long term planning of our planned maintenance ordern and capacity leveling for the entire region. Additional to that there have to be regular meetings with the regional and travel team planners and teamleads to guarantee the best organized communication and resource alocation. Furthermore, it is also desirable to regularly visit the two main locations, Gotha, Thuringia, and Vienna.

 

Your responsibilities:

  • Perform annual capacity plan budget on Sub-region including quarterly follow up
  • Responsible for balancing capacity between dispatchers within the Sub-region. Close cooperation and dialog with Dispatcher and Capacity Planner
  • Optimization potential identified and implemented
  • Sub-region anchor point for streamlined resource management, Planning & Scheduling project implementation, material and resource analytics and performance driver, regular performance reporting to management
  • Support long term planning of the region
  • Regular meetings with the regional dispatchers
  • Optimise the use of the system and point out future pain points

 

Your qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a technical service environment with focus on Planning & Scheduling is essential
  • SAP and/or Salesforce experience could be beneficial 
  • Good IT skills and experience with information processing in databases and planning tools and proficiency in MS office suite of programs
  • Fluent German and very good English language skills
  • Knowledge of LEAN principles
  • Experience in managing smaller development / improvement projects (process & systems)
  • GOS Long term and capacity planning

For candidates from Austria: The actual salary is significantly higher than the minimum salary stipulated in the collective agreement (minimum salary stipulated in the collective agreement for the metal industry for job group III in the 1st year: €37,361.66. (annual salary) - years of employment in the same job group also increase the minimum salary).
