In this position you’ll use your skills and experience to conduct blade work, perform scheduled services, fault analysis/troubleshooting, and potential main component work on wind turbines. During a typical day, you will work at heights and in confined spaces, while being exposed to the elements of weather. Your home site is near Goderich, ON but you will travel often across the area, throughout Canada, and possibly even to the US as needed. Travel benefits will be in place anytime you are headed to another site, and you can travel up to 80% of the time. The team here normally works in teams of 2-3 and typically will climb 1-3 turbines a day. This site has great opportunities to be able to grow within Vestas.



✓ You will need a safety-focused mindset and can identify solutions to issues with process of elimination

✓ Your positive attitude will contribute to your ability to work in a team environment, while being motivated and taking initiative in daily tasks

✓ You can work out of access equipment, such as crane baskets and aerial lifts

✓ You will have a high school diploma or equivalent; wind experience or 2-3 years of blades/composites, heavy industrial electrical, hydraulic, or mechanical experience. Vestas would also consider entry level blade technician who have transferrable skills and willingness to train and grow.
