Fort MacLeod, Alberta – about 30 min from Lethbridge

A DAY IN THE LIFE

In this position you’ll use your skills and experience to perform scheduled service, fault analysis/troubleshooting, and potential main component or blade work on wind turbines. During a typical day, you will work at heights and in confined spaces, while being exposed to the elements of weather. At this site near Fort MacLeod, Alberta, you will typically have shifts 5 days a week at 8-10 hours a day, but you also will have an on-call rotation schedule for off-work hours (weekends). Overtime available and the ability to travel a minimum of 25% per year. The team here normally works in teams of 2-3 and typically will climb 1-2 turbines a day.

✓ You will bring a high school dipolma or equivalent and will bring at least 3 years of applicable or transferrable experience in the wind industry or 3-5 years of transferrable mechanical, hydraulic, or electrical work background
