Vestas Factory

The Controlling and Reporting group is in charge of ensuring accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year-end reporting. This includes compliance with the Company's Financial Guidelines while securing proactive engagement with stakeholders. The group also act as business partner for Regional, Project, or Group stakeholders and make sure that the financial activities-based decisions are taken on a good financial business case that can and will be followed upon.

  • Ensure high integrity in our numbers by having accurate figures in the factory report and high-quality budget based on well-documented assumptions

  • Ensure that there is full accuracy and stability in our forecast where all changes and deviations are explained by the underlying business drivers

  • A value adding Business Partner to COO Area and ensuring a fact based root cause-oriented performance reporting

  • Perform ad hoc reports based on business needs

  • Implement the relevant controlling tasks fully in accordance with the defined and agreed Vestas Financial Guidelines; and make sure controls and applicable compliance requirements are in place

  • Ensure timely update/s of Process Documentation (SOP)

  • Perform Controls and Compliance activities

  • Identify, suggest and implement improvement on current tasks, and participate in Global optimization projects

  • Proactively engage and collaborate with relevant colleagues and business stakeholders, in order to solve operational issues and problems with speed and quality. Propose adjustments as necessary



  • 5+ years of experience within Financial Controlling/Performance Management/Finance Leadership positions

  • Relevant Master's degree in Finance, Auditing, Business Economics, or equivalent professional qualification

  • Solid experience working in a matrix organization

  • A proven previous experience in effectively implementing financial processes and reports

  • Fluent in speaking and writing in English

  • Professional presentation skills: ability to communicate a complex message in a more simplified manner
