Vestas North & Central Europe is a Sales Business Unit covering Austria and Eastern European countries, including Croatia. We are responsible for the sales, installation, and service of wind farms across these regions. Our goal is to be the number one performing business unit within Vestas, while making Vestas Central Europe the best place to work.

Responsibilities

As a Service Technician (f/m), you will be responsible for performing electrical, remote control, and mechanical operations on our wind energy turbines. In addition to commissioning and planned maintenance, you will carry out repairs and inspections.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Performing all work safely and with close attention to detail
• Promoting and demonstrating safe behavior and best practices at all times
• Carrying out mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical maintenance, repairs, and component replacements
• Ensuring turbines are kept clean and in a tidy condition
• Checking tools and spare parts for accuracy, operational readiness, and completeness before starting work
• Ensuring vehicles are properly equipped with tools, personal protective equipment, and spare parts
• Ensuring compliance with legal requirements as well as company policies and guidelines within your area of responsibility
  
  
  

Qualifications

• Completed high school education or higher
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in electronics or mechanics
• Fluent spoken and written English
• Basic proficiency in MS Office
• Valid driving license (category CE or BE)

• Willingness to travel extensively
• Ability to work at heights
