Operating within the Vestas Northern & Central Europe business unit, we focus exclusively on selling, constructing, and operating onshore wind power plants in UK and Ireland. With offices in Dublin and Warrington, Service UK and Ireland is responsible for the service and maintenance of our customers wind power plants in both markets. 

Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities will be: 

• P&L responsibility for the sites and for the service delivery including people management and complex logistics 
• Direct line management responsibility of local field operations team.
• Deliver optimised operations of the customers assets encompassing Quality, HSE, and production performance
• Deliver operational performance to meet requirements of forecast and planning.
• Assessing operations, and maintenance activities, and employee development
• Provide the strategic decisions, and ensure full commitment of operational team
• Ensure continuous improvement with the customers addressing high priority issues 

Qualifications

• You will be degree qualified, ideally Masters-level with previous experience in an operational role improving business performance. 
• You will be a skilled manager, adept at interacting with people at all levels of internally and external with large multinational organisations
• Project management skills, able to handle a range of solutions with stakeholders across the business 
• You will have proven solid organisational skills, the ability to prioritise and change focus as per the needs of the business 
• You will have highly developed communications skills, the ability to be clear and consistent
