The Global Tools NCSA provides construction tools for the installation and servicing of Vestas wind turbines.  These heavy machinery tools provide safe and quality lifting of wind turbine components at the construction sites in North, Central and South America. These installations sites are at the forefront in providing Vestas to be the world leader in wind energy.  This Warehouse Supervisor will have extensive knowledge in processing inbound and outbound material in a warehouse/production environment.



•             Handle daily shipping schedules; collaborate with Manager and other key leaders to achieve scheduling expectations and coordinate workflow.

•             Verify on-time shipping for all tools.

•             Maintain warehouse safety and organization to Vestas' safety standards and expectations.

•             Responsible for communicating and collaborating with internal and external customers; Engage with external customers in a professional, service-oriented manner to maintain good customer relationships and satisfaction.

•             Ensure all defined processes are completed by team members

•             Oversee proper forklift prevention, predictive and ongoing maintenance; assure staff is adequately trained to operate forklift safely.

•             Maintain and sustain respective stocking programs.

•             Maintain Cycle count program.

•             Train all material handler employees; perform annual performance reviews; act as a coach and manager day-to-day; responsible for hiring, employee relations and terminations.

•             Conduct weekly meeting with staff; Assure 1:1 employee conversations and coaching happens in between weekly team meeting.

•             Participation in relevant projects

•             Perform other tasks as assigned



•             Bachelor's degree preferred; High school diploma or GED may be substituted with equivalent level of proven experience

•             3 - 5 years shipping and warehouse experience in positions of increasing responsibility

•             Possess current forklift experience

•             Data entry skills with accuracy and attention to detail; Ability to input, retrieve and analyze data

•             Computer experience (Microsoft Office Suite, SAP)

•             Minimum 1 - 3 years' experience with SAP or ERP/MRP software for supply chain /inventory management.

•             Hands-on commitment to getting the job done

•             Great communication and interpersonal skills

•             Self-motivated and self-directed

•             Solid multi-tasking and organizational skills

•             Good communication skills in English both written and orally.

•             Open minded and good at sharing/gathering information within a team.

•             Able to cope with change and working under ambiguous circumstances.

•             Good interpersonal and communication skills, focusing on good teamwork.



•             Will be required to see and hear alarms, timers and follow verbal instructions

•             Will be required to be on warehouse floor

•             Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)

•             Valid Driver's License

•             Ability to guide and supervise a team


Salary offered: $70,000
